Jim Honefenger, P.E. Moseley & Associates
new vice president of marketing and sales,
joined the company in January 2009.
His key roles include boosting marketing initiatives, driving sales and stewarding
customer satisfaction. In addition, he will be a
key contributor to product enhancement and
new product development, helping to chart
direction based on customer needs and industry
and economic forecasts.
With more than 30 years in the oil and gas industry, Jim combines a unique blend of technical experience and knowledge with marketing, sales and business acumen.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical
engineering and has been involved with |

technical software applications—through marketing, sales, support, consulting or development—for his entire oil patch career.
His technical focus is reservoir characterization, including related activities such as seismic interpretation, geostatistics, petrophysics, geocellular modeling, reservoir simulation, probability analysis and well productivity.
Jim prides himself on being a bridge between technology and business value, helping to introduce new technology and driving its acceptance in the industry. He has worked in key executive management roles or as a consultant with companies of all sizes, with regional, national and global teams and responsibilities. |

In addition to his business ventures, Jim
promotes technology through professional
societies and industry councils, where he has
held key leadership positions.
Before joining P.E. Moseley and Associates, Jim was a consultant and owner of Consulting Assets.
