Welcome to the first edition of Optimizing Performance, the quarterly newsletter of P.E. Moseley & Associates, Inc.

Jim has more than 30 years in the oil and gas industry as an engineer and manager, as well as in the development, marketing and sales of technology.

Jim and I have many mutual colleagues but only finally met a year ago. After talking with him, I knew he had skills and experience that will complement our existing team, enhance our customer relationships and help drive product innovation—ultimately benefiting our customers and users.

 Resolve Issues Faster with eSupport Website

To better serve you, P.E. Moseley & Associates has implemented a secure, self-service technical support website using eSupport.

Each registered WEM user has direct access to eSupport from the Support menu in the WEM software. From that Support menu, first-time WEM users can also register for eSupport or existing users can reset passwords.

Open a Ticket and Upload Related Files
Using eSupport is the fastest way to log, track and resolve WEM issues.

When you log into eSupport, click Submit Ticket to create a new ticket where you can attach any of your data files to help our support team resolve your issue quickly.
 

You can also check the resolution status of your ticket.

Only Registered Users for Security and Reliability
Only registered users of WEM have access to the eSupport site.

To register:
• Individual users (stand-alone installations) receive
   their User ID (email address) and an automatically
   generated password when they purchase or renew
   their product key.

• Users on a LAN or WAN installation must each register
   manually through the WEM support menu.

 
   

 

 

 Honefenger to Drive Marketing and Sales

Jim Honefenger, P.E. Moseley & Associates new vice president of marketing and sales, joined the company in January 2009.

His key roles include boosting marketing initiatives, driving sales and stewarding customer satisfaction. In addition, he will be a key contributor to product enhancement and new product development, helping to chart direction based on customer needs and industry and economic forecasts.

With more than 30 years in the oil and gas industry, Jim combines a unique blend of technical experience and knowledge with marketing, sales and business acumen.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical
engineering and has been involved with
 


technical software applications—through marketing, sales, support, consulting or development—for his entire oil patch career.

His technical focus is reservoir characterization, including related activities such as seismic interpretation, geostatistics, petrophysics, geocellular modeling, reservoir simulation, probability analysis and well productivity.

Jim prides himself on being a bridge between technology and business value, helping to introduce new technology and driving its acceptance in the industry. He has worked in key executive management roles or as a consultant with companies of all sizes, with regional, national and global teams and responsibilities.

 


In addition to his business ventures, Jim promotes technology through professional societies and industry councils, where he has held key leadership positions.

Before joining P.E. Moseley and Associates, Jim was a consultant and owner of Consulting Assets.
