Welcome to the first edition of Optimizing Performance, the quarterly newsletter of P.E. Moseley & Associates, Inc.

The purpose of this newsletter is to help you—our customers and users—get the most value from Well Evaluation Model (WEM), our best-in-class well evaluation and design software.

The goal is to stimulate conversation. We’ll be sharing information with you, and we also want your input, feedback and success stories.

The newsletter will feature:
• Product tips to improve your productivity
• Workarounds and solutions to help you resolve
  or even avoid issues
• Product development maps to ensure that
our plans continue to meet your business needs
• Company news relevant to you
• Customer success stories to spark ideas for your business

And for our first company announcement, please join me in welcoming Jim Honefenger as our new vice president of marketing and sales.

Jim has more than 30 years in the oil and gas industry as an engineer and manager, as well as in the development, marketing and sales of technology.

Jim and I have many mutual colleagues but only finally met a year ago. After talking with him, I knew he had skills and experience that will complement our existing team, enhance our customer relationships and help drive product innovation—ultimately benefiting our customers and users.

For details on Jim’s background, see the story below.

We Want to Hear from You
The past 25-plus years since we launched WEM have been challenging and rewarding as our

We are eager to continue working with you to meet the evolving and increasingly complex technical and energy challenges of the 21st century. So let us hear from you.

Do you have a question about WEM? A great success story you want to share? Send us an email or give us a call.
